Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to PRAELIQ websites, founding-profile reservations, recognition submissions, encouraging notes, memberships, and support interactions. Third-party sites and services linked from PRAELIQ have their own policies.

2. Information we collect

• Profile and contact data: display name, email address, handle, headline, biography, affiliations, skills, projects, and preferences.
• Recognition content: recognitions, notes, source information, dates, categories, tags, evidence, and moderation status.
• Payment and subscription data: plan, transaction status, billing contact information, tax information when required, and Stripe customer or subscription references. Stripe processes payment-card data; PRAELIQ does not intend to store full card numbers.
• Optional identity information: when you use Sign in with ChatGPT, PRAELIQ may receive the email address and, when available, display name associated with that sign-in.
• Technical information: basic device, browser, log, security, referral, and interaction information generated when the service is used.
• Communications: support requests, privacy requests, feedback, survey responses, and correspondence.

3. Public and private information

Public profile content may be indexed, shared, copied, or viewed by people outside PRAELIQ. Email addresses, payment information, internal moderation notes, and identity-verification details are not intended for public display. You should not submit sensitive information for public publication.

4. How information is used

• Provide, personalize, secure, and maintain profiles and recognition features.
• Reserve handles, verify ownership, prevent impersonation, and respond to support.
• Process memberships, taxes, receipts, renewals, cancellations, disputes, and fraud prevention.
• Review and moderate public content and enforce community standards.
• Analyze service performance and develop new features.
• Send transactional communications and, only where legally permitted or consented to, promotional communications.
• Comply with law, protect rights and safety, and establish or defend legal claims.

5. How information is shared

Information may be shared with service providers that support hosting, payments, authentication, communications, analytics, security, moderation, and professional advice. Current or anticipated providers may include Stripe for payments and optional ChatGPT/OpenAI identity services. Information may also be shared when you direct us to publish it, during a lawful business reorganization, or when required to protect legal rights, safety, or comply with valid legal process. PRAELIQ does not sell payment-card details.

6. Stripe and checkout

Stripe processes checkout and subscription information under its own privacy terms. PRAELIQ may receive transaction identifiers, contact information, subscription status, tax-related information, and limited payment-method details such as card brand and last four digits. Information may be collected during checkout even when a transaction is not completed, as permitted by the checkout configuration and applicable law.

7. Optional ChatGPT sign-in

ChatGPT sign-in is optional. Guests may reserve a profile with an email address without creating or using a ChatGPT account. If you choose ChatGPT sign-in, the identity data provided through that flow is used to pre-fill or enable identity-aware features. PRAELIQ does not receive your ChatGPT password.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

PRAELIQ and its providers may use essential storage or cookies for security, session continuity, preferences, fraud prevention, and service operation. Additional analytics or marketing technologies will be described or presented with choices where required by law. Browser controls may limit cookies, but essential features may then function differently.

9. Retention

Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain legitimate business and financial records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, and comply with law. Public content may remain available until removed or archived. Backup copies may persist for a limited period after deletion.

10. Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information, and may object to or withdraw consent for certain processing where applicable. You may unsubscribe from promotional messages while continuing to receive necessary transactional communications. Identity verification may be required before fulfilling a request. Rights vary by jurisdiction and may be subject to lawful exceptions.

11. Security

PRAELIQ uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to its founding stage, including private member functions, trusted-origin checks, protected integration credentials, private/no-store response controls, Stripe webhook-signature verification, moderation before publication, and server-side evidence screening before storage. Rejected files are not stored. See Security & Upload Safety for the current control summary. No online system or upload filter is completely secure.

12. Children

PRAELIQ is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly invite them to create independent profiles. Paid memberships and independent profile management are limited to adults. If you believe a child’s information was submitted without proper authorization, contact PRAELIQ for review and removal.

13. International visitors

PRAELIQ is operated from the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where service providers operate. Appropriate safeguards will be used where legally required.

14. Policy updates

This Policy may be updated as PRAELIQ adds features, providers, or markets. Material revisions will be reflected by the updated date and additional notice when appropriate.
